The Team

Coco Moo Cookers is a group of old and new friends who all love to give back, master the art of barbeque, and enjoy friendships while giving back to our community and charitable causes.  We were named in honor of one of our founding member's father's who lost his short battle to brain cancer.  He was heavily involved in giving back to the community and asked us to continue that in his honor. 

Rodeo Austin and the BBQ Austin Cook-Off weekend brings out thousands of people to enjoy the food, entertainment and fun. Friday and Saturday night Coco Moo Cookers’ will host top notch entertainment with a private bar and seating for sponsors and of course outstanding barbeque!  Providing a great weekend for our sponsors and their guest, while raising money for the scholarship fund.  Here are a few of our top accomplishments as a team over the last 5 years:

● BBQ Austin “TOP TEAM FUNDRASER” for the last 3 straight years   ● CMC gave over $41,000 directly to the kids in 2019! ● Top 10 Finishes in Brisket, Chicken, Beans, Sauce and Bloody Mary (2019) ● In 5 years we have given over $125,000 back to the kids! ● Awarded the honor of “Most funds raised by a Rookie team in the history of the cook-off” with 4th place in overall fundraising (2015)
